ESG Consultant Intern (f/m/d)

GO2 Markets connects buyers and sellers worldwide to facilitate the trading of environmental products and provides advisory services to help organisations develop and implement sustainability strategies.

This is a Berlin-based internship with a hybrid setup, starting as soon as possible with the chance of transitioning into a full-time position.

Your Mission

• Monitor, research, and analyze sustainability-related regulations, frameworks, and laws (e.g. CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy) and translate findings into clear, structured report summaries.

• Interpret technical and regulatory requirements and help convert them into structured, user-friendly questions and workflows for our advisory tools.

• Support the development and continuous improvement of our AI-powered advisory platform (GO2+), including reviewing tool logic, testing outputs, and helping refine how the tool applies regulatory knowledge.

• Conduct research and competitive analysis on comparable market offerings to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.

• Review content for linguistic precision, consistency, and clarity, both in the tool's interface and in user-facing outputs.

• Ensure content and workflows remain logically consistent with the tool's overall framework and objectives.

• Support the Advisory team with day-to-day research and documentation tasks as needed.

What You Will Bring

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Law, or a related field.

• Genuine interest in sustainability regulation and ESG topics (familiarity with CSRD/ESRS is a plus, not a requirement).

• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to distill complex regulatory text into clear, digestible summaries.

• Curiosity about AI tools and how they can be applied to advisory work.

• Excellent written English; German language skills are a plus.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as cross-functionally.
